2025 Centaurus FC Tryouts

Ongoing tryouts start Thursday, Feb. 27th

Come try out for Centaurus FC’s travel teams on the Upper East Side. Your child will join a regular CFC team practice and be evaluated by coaches on site.

@ MS 224, 410 E. 100 St.

BOYS’ TRYOUT DAYS:

U7 Boys: Saturdays 1-3 pm

U8 Boys: Thursdays 5-6:30, Saturdays 1-3

U9 Boys: Thursdays 6:15-7:45, Saturdays 1-3

GIRLS’ TRYOUT DAYS:

U7-U9 Girls: Fridays 6:30-7:30 *MARCH 7th and 14th ONLY*

*Registration Required, No cost to attend the session

Tryout DETAILS:

WHAT TO BRING? 

Bring shinguards, flat sneakers, athletic clothes, and water.

WHAT ARE PLAYERS EVALUATED ON?

Players will join a regular CFC team practice. Coaches will evaluate players’ dribbling, passing, shooting, coordination, collaboration, and game play to decide their level. ***Players selected for a team will be notified within 72 hours.

When does THE TEAM SEASON start?

Training is 2 - 3 days weekly (depending on team and season) and runs from August 2025 - June 2026, including winter futsal, and options for additional camps. 

Where will league games be played?

All CJSL fall and spring league games are played within the 5 boroughs. Additional fall, winter, and spring tournament locations TBA (in NY and NJ).

Season Cost:

$ 3100 / year (Uniform cost is separate)
