OPEN CALL FOR COACHES
Part Time Youth Soccer and Futsal Coaches
Development and Competitive Teams in New York City
Do you love soccer and futsal? Have people told you that you’re great with kids? Do you excel at breaking down complex skills into simple steps?
If you answered yes to all three, we’re looking for someone like you to teach soccer and futsal to both our development and competitive team soccer groups.
Our Mission:
JOÜK LLC is a youth soccer and futsal development academy in Manhattan that teaches fundamental building-block skills at a young age, in a safe and encouraging environment.
We give children a space to enter the fun and exciting world of “fútbol” a.k.a. soccer. Our training sessions are taught using music, skill-based activities, small-sided games, and hands-on step-by-step demonstrations.
Training sessions seek to nurture key childhood development elements like leadership, motivation, sportsmanship, teamwork, confidence, creativity, and coordination, among others.
TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM:
JOÜK, through our Technical Development Program (TDP), teaches fundamental skills level by level to beginners up to advanced soccer players, all year round.
We pride ourselves in creating a positive environment where players feel supported to try new things and be creative while learning.
We believe all kids have potential and deserve a chance to learn, so it’s important for development coaches to nurture each one of them, meeting them where they are.
COMPETITIVE TEAM:
Our new Centaurus FC program offers competitive futsal and soccer teams for young players to advance into team play with top coaching and individual attention. Currently we are starting with U7 and will expand as we go.
Competitive coaches should have a strong base both in teaching fundamental skills, and teamwork. They should train with a positive mindset, focusing on player growth instead of just wins.
