Walter Altamirano, JOÜK Founder and Head Coach, has dedicated his life to soccer. In addition to his 20+ years of experience as a player and head coach holding a U.S. Soccer National ‘C’ License, Walter is also an NASM-certified Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), which allows him to add speed, agility, and strength training to practices.

His passion for soccer, and natural ability to connect with young footballers inspires students to reach for their best. He also adds futsal, which he played as a child visiting his family in Ecuador, and fun aspects of futvolley, futnet, and other soccer-related sports.

Walter strives to make high quality soccer accessible to a wide variety of families and children in New York, and to promote healthy lives for children of all ages.
