Centaurus FC 2025 Open Tryouts

For youth soccer players born 2015- 2019

Boys b. 2015 - 2017 Girls b. 2018, 2019

Ongoing until June 13th

Come try out for Centaurus FC’s travel teams on the Upper East Side. Your child will join a regular CFC team practice and be evaluated by coaches on site.

Tryout Days/ Locations:

GIRLS: Central Park, E. Meadow (97th + 5th)

  • TUESDAY and FRIDAY: 3:30 - 4:30 pm (2018 + 2019)

BOYS: MS 224 turf field (410 East 100 St.)

  • MONDAYS: 5:30 - 6:45 pm (2015 + 2017)

  • TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS and THURSDAYS:

    • b. 2017: 5:15 - 6:30 pm

    • b. 2015: 6:15 - 7:45 pm

  • FRIDAYS: 5:30 - 6:45 pm (2015 + 2017)

TRYOUT FAQ:

  • Shinguards, flat or turf sneakers (no cleats), athletic clothes, and water.

  • Players will join a regular CFC team practice. Coaches will evaluate players’ dribbling, passing, shooting, coordination, collaboration, and game play to decide their level. ***Players selected for a team will be notified within 72 hours.

  • Training is 2 - 3 days weekly (depending on team and season) and runs from September 2025 - June 2026, including winter futsal, and options for additional camps. 

  • All CJSL fall and spring league games are played within the 5 boroughs. Additional fall, winter, and spring tournament locations TBA (in NY and NJ).
